  • COFFEE SHOP BARISTA

    Essential Job Functions:

    - Will be on your feet for the entire shift
    - Ability to work at a very fast pace
    - Must be able to work independently

    Position Overview:

    Baristas will be working in the Coffee Shop. You are responsible for the setup, cleanup, maintenance and operation of the coffee shop. You take orders from patrons and prepare coffee and coffee drinks in accordance with standard recipes. Some food items are also sold in the Coffee Shop. Baristas need to become familiar with the recipes and techniques used in preparation of these beverages. You ring orders into the cash register, collect payment and make change. Baristas also wash and sterilize glassware and stock all supplies. You must have schedule flexibility. Uniform and dress code required.

    Wage: $7.25/hour plus tips
  • LIFT ATTENDANT

    Essential Job Functions:

    - Working outside, frequently in extreme weather conditions
    - Physically holding chairs while guests load and unload chairlifts
    - Physically swinging loaded chairs
    - Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
    - Snow shoveling required
    - May be on your feet for the entire shift
    - Minimum age is 18

    Position Overview:

    Lift attendants and operators are in constant contact with our guests and must be friendly and helpful when greeting and assisting them. You will be outside, sometimes for your entire shift, in all types of weather. You must be agile on soft and hard packed snow surfaces and able to walk safely down the slopes. You may be performing lift maintenance or de-icing towers and clearing snow. You may be assigned to work the Magic Carpet lift in the Tube Park.

    Uniform and dress code required. Uniform jacket provided.

    Wage: $7.25/Hour starting

    $7.75/Hour after training and passing a test to qualify as a Lift Operator
  • SNOWMAKER

    Essential Job Functions:

    - 12 hour day or night shifts in extreme weather conditions
    - Must be able to frequently lift and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
    - Must be able to pull heavy hoses or other equipment on hard packed or soft snow and icy surfaces
    - Must be safety conscious and aware of changing conditions
    - Minimum age requirement is 18

    Position Overview:

    Snowmakers need to be genuinely interested in working outside in challenging and changing weather conditions. You will be involved in the operation of snowmaking equipment whenever weather permits to meet the needs as determined by our Mountain Manager. When possible and needed you might be working seven days per week, and at other times, you may be working in another area or called off.
    Day shift snowmakers may be assigned to direct traffic in the parking lot on weekends and holidays when not needed for daytime snowmaking and may be kept busy doing other duties.

    You need to provide your own outside clothing, warm and waterproof boots and gloves.

    Dress code required.

    Wage: $7.25 per hour starting.
  • SNOW SPORTS SCHOOL
    SKI & SNOWBOARD INSTRUCTOR

    Essential Job Functions:

    - Good skiing and/or snowboarding ability required
    - Outside work frequently in extreme weather conditions
    - Teaching skills for all levels and ages necessary
    - Commitment to improving skills and teaching techniques through practice and clinics
    - Some clinics mandatory
    - Excellent customer services skills necessary
    - Minimum age is 18

    Position Overview:

    Beginning as well as experienced instructors are encouraged to apply. There will be a required Instructor Training Clinic for all PSIA non-certified new instructors – usually the first two weekends in December. The cost covers lift tickets and training for the four days.
    Instructors work in high visibility positions and are expected to be particularly friendly, courteous and patient at all times. Instructors may be teaching at any level from beginner to racer. You may be asked to work at times other than your regularly scheduled shifts, and will be expected to do so as much as possible. You may also be asked to help out in the Cascade Kids program if needed. You may be assigned desk time. Uniform and dress code required. Uniform jackets are available for purchase upon successful completion of the training clinic.


    CASCADE KIDS STAFF

    Essential Job Functions:

    - Must love children; babysitting experience preferred
    - Good skiing and/or snowboarding ability required
    - Outside work frequently in extreme weather conditions
    - Ability to teach children basic skills necessary
    - Commitment to improving skills and teaching techniques through practice and clinics
    - Some clinics mandatory
    - Excellent customer services skills necessary
    - Some positions available for ages 14 and 15

    Position Overview:

    There will be a required Instructor Training Clinic for all PSIA non-certified new instructors – usually the first two weekends in December. The cost covers lift tickets and training for the four days.
    Cascade Kids Instructors will be working with children ages 4 – 10, must enjoy working and playing with kids and possess a lot of patience. Kids Instructors are under the direct supervision of the Snow Sports School Director and will be required to attend many of the same meetings and clinics as full instructors. This position provides a good opportunity to advance to full instructor status. Some instructors may be asked to work the Cascade Kids or the Snow Sports desk and may be asked to help teach other classes.

    Uniform and dress code required.
    Uniform jackets are available for purchase upon successful completion of the training clinic.

    Hourly wages while teaching lessons or leading clinics are:

     $8.25 Not PSIA/AASI Registered
     $10.00 PSIA or AASI Level 1 Certified
     $10.50 PSIA Level 1 and AASI Level 1
     $12.00 PSIA or AASI Level 2 Certified
     $12.50 PSIA or AASI Level 3 Certified
  • TUBE PARK LIFT ATTENDANT

    Essential Job Functions:

    - Working outside, frequently in extreme weather conditions
    - Will be on your feet for the entire shift
    - Must be able to physically pull loaded snow tubes across the snow
    - Snow shoveling required
    - Minimum age is 18 for lift operation and 16 for other positions

    Position Overview:

    Tube Park employees are in constant contact with our guests and must possess friendly and helpful personalities. Your duties will include but not be limited to: greeting the guests and giving instructions, assisting them on and off the surface (conveyer) lifts, operating the lifts and helping the tubers to get out of the way of others. You must be agile on soft and hard packed snow surfaces. You may be cross-trained in ski lift operations.

    Uniform and dress code required. Uniform jacket provided.

    Wage: $7.25/Hour starting
